LITHIUM NETWORK

THE UNIFIED DATA MANAGEMENT NETWORK THAT EMPOWERS DEPIN & IOT APPLICATIONS

One of the biggest challenges that the IoT industry faces

which is slowing down the evolution of Smart Cities, Industry 4.0, and Smart Agriculture is the segregation of proprietary IoT solutions offered by tech corporations and IoT providers.

With the vast explosion of IoT solutions, businesses, institutions, and even ordinary people in their smart homes are using dozens of different applications simultaneously that usually use proprietary hardware and data protocols and do not integrate with the others. This leads to many issues and missed opportunities like:

  • Added cost for acquisition of hardware which often overlaps in capabilities, but is used by different systems and in different contexts;
  • Added overhead for management and maintenance of the different systems and hardware;
  • Less optimal use of the existing systems, because of the fact that the data collected by them cannot be combined with data from other systems and devices;
  • An increased amount of e-waste, resources, and energy.

LITHIUM NETWORK

INTRODUCES THE SOLUTION FOR THIS CHALLENGE CREATING AN OPEN, DECENTRALISED & UNIFIED DATA MANAGEMENT NETWORK FOR DEPIN & IOT SOLUTIONS

UNIFIED

DATA POOLS

Lithium Network introduces a framework based on Data Pools. Each Solution can create its own data pool for data that is currently nonexistent in the network but can also contribute and use data from other data pools

DATA PRIVACY

MANAGEMENT

Data can be classified as public and private. The private data can be accessed only by its owner based on encryption with the owner’s private keys. This allows the Lithium Network to store sensitive data in a way that only the owner or authorized entities can access it and therefore even the solution provider cannot use the private data.

SHARED DATA

VALIDATION & VERIFICATION

The Lithium Network also provides the tools for sharing data either with authorized entities or publicly. At the same time, it ensures that the shared data is genuine and intact.

SHARED & AGGREGATED DATA

FAIR MONETIZATION

Proprietary IoT providers not only lock in their customers but also use their customer’s data for their own additional revenue – either by selling it or by offering some kind of aggregated data analysis to their customers.

The Lithium Network provides a fair monetization model for all stakeholders:

  • Entities that contribute by sharing their data receive a fair share of the income if their data is being used for others than themselves.
  • Solution providers get their share for providing the solutions.

Lithium Network Empowers

Web2 IoT solutions to become Decentralised and Global

Any solution developer can join the Lithium Network, by using the existing data pools or creating completely new data pools for their solutions and integrating them to the current apps and solutions.

COUNTLESS DATA POOLS, COUNTLESS APPLICATIONS

ONE DATA NETWORK

Developers can create any app using the Lithium Data Layer organising it in pools. Different applications can use both their data and data provided by other apps.

The infographic below shows how 5 main data pools can create even more additional use cases of the data that is already collected than the original data only on their main intersections. In real life, the pools can be unlimited and their intersection will be progressively more with the optimum use of hardware, hosting, and developer resources.

THE FUTURE OF IOT

IS OPEN SOURCE & DECENTRALIZED

NEXT LEVEL OF

SUSTAINABILITY

While the IoT solutions are usually at the core of the sustainability strategy of every corporation, they create it’s sustainability issues.

The Lithium Network introduces the tools to optimize energy and resource utilization even further while reducing e-waste.

OPEN AND FAIR

COLLABORATION

Anyone can create a solution that integrates with current solutions and data without the need to be “licensed” by big corporations and follow their proprietary standards and protocols.

And everyone gets compensated in a trustless and permissionless manner.

HUMAN

CENTRIC

Any technology should be human-centric, but when it is proprietary it usually serves the interests of the corporations first.

An open-source and decentralized IoT framework creates an environment where human-centric solutions can thrive.
